Patients with acute conditions can reduce pain to allow more normal movement. Water provides a therapeutic environment that enhances one's sense of well-being.

We partner with other facilities such as your community's YMCA or YWCA in order to provide this unique service in a confortable and relaxing environment.

Because Aquatic Physical Therapy (APT) minimizes gravity, there is often less stress to joints and decreased pain with exercise. Joint compression is minimized on the weigh- bearing joints since the water acts a support for the patient's weight. APT facilitates joint movement with much greater ease and provides early movement of post-operative conditions. Aquatic Physical Therapy helps reduce swelling and at the same time increases circulation, range of motion, balance, coordination and endurance.
