Hand & Rehabilitation Specialists is proud to announce a 2011 patient satisfaction rating of 97.5 %.

Patients were given the opportunity to rate their therapy experience at Hand & Rehabilitation Specialists by completing a patient satisfaction survey at the time of discharge.

Evaluation criteria included provision of treatment, courtesy of staff, scheduling of appointments, patient education, and equipment. Surveys were then independently tabulated.

Hand and Rehabilitation Specialists of North Carolina is pleased to announce William W. Walsh, MBA, MHA, OTR/L, CHT was recently elected Chairman of the American Hand Therapy Foundation.  Since 1995, he has served on the Board of Directors of the American Hand Therapy Foundation, acting as treasurer from 1999 to 2007.
 
The American Hand Therapy Foundation is a non-profit healthcare organization dedicated to education and research in the specialty of hand rehabilitation.  Founded in 1989, the Foundation annually offers three research grants available at www.ahtfgrants.com.

Hand and Rehabilitation Specialists of NC now provides "Direct Access".  This means that we provide Hand Therapy and Physical Therapy to anyone seeking those services, either with or without a physician's referral.

Our Asheboro clinic was relocated to a more convenient  location.  It is now located in the Premier Medical Center at 610 North Fayetteville Street, Suite 201 on the corner of Fayetteville and Presnell  streets.  Handicapped parking is available directly in front of our  entrance.

You have four locations to receive your therapy -- Eden, Asheboro, Reidsville and Greensboro. You are not confined to just one location for your treatment; instead, you can have your treatment at the location that is closest to you on the day of treatment.

Because we genuinely care about each of our patients, we always strive to work with our patients in arranging treatment times and locations that are most convenient for them.
